4. Purpose of collection
- We collect Personal Information to provide you with the best possible experience across the TECHOM Systems Website, customer dashboards, and related IT services. This information allows us to operate efficiently, deliver support, improve service performance, and keep you informed about updates relevant to our solutions.
- We may use insights generated from analytical tools such as Microsoft Clarity and similar platforms to better understand overall user behaviour and improve how our Website and services perform. While these tools are mentioned in the collection section, their purpose here is solely to help us enhance usability, refine service delivery, and identify areas where customers may need clearer guidance or support. No personally identifying details or sensitive information entered into forms are used for this purpose, only general usage trends that help us improve the experience we provide.
- Payment & Billing Handling: All payment transactions are processed securely through trusted third-party payment gateways. TECHOM SYSTEMS does not store full credit card information on our Website. Payment information may be retained by payment providers according to their privacy policies.
- Microsoft 365 as Primary Data Storage: Customer data, including emails, documents, and service records, is stored securely in Microsoft 365. No customer data is stored in WordPress or on local servers.
- Overseas Operational Vendors: TECHOM SYSTEMS may work with overseas implementation partners for service delivery. Minimal Personal Information may be shared as required, and these partners are contractually obliged to handle data in accordance with Australian Privacy Principles.
- Third-Party Partners:

- Software/Hardware Subscription

5. Security, Access and correction

When we no longer require your Personal Information for the purpose for which we obtained in, we will take reasonable steps to destroy and anonymise or de-identify it. Most of the Personal Information that is stored in our client files and records will be kept for a maximum of 7 years to fulfill our record keeping obligations.

If we agree that your complaint is well founded, we will, in consultation with you, take appropriate steps to rectify the problem. If you remain dissatisfied with the outcome, you may refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
7. Overseas transfer
- Your Personal Information may be transferred or stored overseas for operational purposes.
- Where transferred to countries without equivalent protections, we take reasonable steps to ensure contractual commitments exist to handle information in accordance with Australian Privacy Principles.
- If transferred to countries with data protection laws substantially similar to the Australian Privacy Principles, TECHOM SYSTEMS will take all possible efforts to protect information and report breach if happens.

9. GDPR
In some circumstances, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provides additional protection to individuals located in Europe. The fact that you may be located in Europe does not, however, on its own entitle you to protection under the GDPR. Our website does not specifically target customers located in the European Union and we do not monitor the behaviour of individuals in the European Union, and accordingly the GDPR does not apply.
